Route of the Englishmen Interpretation Centre

At the Route of the Englishmen Interpretation Centre you can get to know the historical facts of the battle of Lugar Nuevo which took place during the Peninsular War. Thanks to explanatory panels and objects you can find out detailed information on the different armies, their strategies in the battle, and the context. 

A historical hiking route in the vicinity of Romangordo runs through the places where the confrontation took place on 19th May 1812. In this battle Napoleon’s feared French forces were defeated by the English troops.

Winter: Thursdays and Fridays from 17 to 20 hours; Saturdays and Sundays from 10 to 13 hours and from 17 to 20 hours.
