Ecomuseo Casa Tío Cáscoles

This small house in the centre of Romangordo is one of the most curious and interesting museums that can be visited in the Monfragüe Biosphere Reserve. With the help of locals it has been converted into a traditional house of the first half of the 20th century with its kitchen utensils, its trousseau, its furniture, and its traditional slate walls.

After your visit you will have a better understanding of the traditional way of life and will see how it has changed in recent decades, maintaining a sustainable relationship with the environment but changing with the times.

Winter: Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00 to 15:00 hours - Fri/Sat/Sun: 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 18:00 hours.

Summer: Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00 to 15:00 hours - Fri/Sat/Sun: 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 18:00 hours.
